St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Children’s Center
St. Andrew’s is excited to offer quality child care and educational services to the East Dallas/ Lakewood community! St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Children’s Center (SAPCC) is part of the broader mission of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church to provide a nurturing and arts-focused environment for children 6 weeks to 5 years. St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Children’s Center operates as a year-round, weekday, paid-tuition, early childhood program, offering care for children from infants to preschool. The staff consists of 15 employees caring for approximately 70 children. The St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Children’s Center opens daily from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Beginning in January 2016, the preparations have taken effect, and the on-site daycare has transitioned back to church ownership. We have been working hard behind the scenes to make this happen, and are looking forward to offering an improved child care service to the community. The staff that the families have come to know and love continue to serve in their current capacity, and we are working together to implement improvements to the services. We celebrated our grand opening in May 2016, unveiling the new sign for St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Children’s Center, complete with bounce houses, food, drinks, and cake, and were delighted with the turnout of parents attending the celebration. We look forward to continually strengthening our connection with the parents and families in the community.
SAPCC is now fully licensed as a childcare facility in the state of Texas under the new name and ownership. A few minor adjustments in operational procedures have helped improve the experience both for SAPCC staff as well as for the parents and families.
